If you are looking for a personalized physical therapy facility, Seva PT is what you are looking for. Gaurav is professional and friendly, and is passionate about his career. He listens to his clients and is truly invested in your recovery. I have had to do PT a number of times, and I now seek out places like Seva PT because of the specialization and attention they afford. The sessions are all 1-1 unlike many traditional PT facilities. Seva also accepts most health insurance, which makes it attractive.

Strength and ROM are definitely back.

I cannot recommend SEVA PT enough! I had a labral tear surgery done on my left shoulder last November and went to SEVA PT for recovery. Gaurav took the time to diagnose my strength and range of motion (ROM) levels, identifying areas that need particular attention and explaining everything very clearly and succinctly in the process. We then came up with a plan for recovery that first entailed a couple of ROM exercises that take 30s at most 4x-5x a day and progressively built on that. He made it a point to have me do just those exercises that had a direct benefit in my recovery journey, keeping everything simple and straight to the point. I could barely do a pushup on my knees when I started and by the end of my 12 visits (over ~3 months), was doing clap push-ups and other plyometric variations, in addition to lifting again. Strength and ROM are definitely back. Gaurav only takes one patient per appointment and thus each care plan is fully personalized. He tracks progress and shows how your own recovery journey compares to others within your age group and fitness level who went through similar pains/surgeries to give you a data based evaluation of how the progress is going. I had an excellent experience with him.

highly focused, results-oriented PT experience

I highly recommend Gaurav “G” for physical therapy. I came to him with a herniated disc that caused severe sciatica pain; at its worst, I couldn’t even stand for more than 30 seconds. Gaurav’s approach is truly unique, focusing on one-on-one sessions with complete privacy. Unlike typical PT setups where you’re doing multiple exercises several times a week, Gaurav’s goal was to complete therapy in 6–8 sessions. I was able to finish in just 6 sessions over 5 weeks, which allowed me to get the clearance to return to the gym and resume all physical activities quickly.

Between sessions, Gaurav provided couple of effective simple exercises to do a few times a day, as well as one key exercise to maintain progress and prevent back pain from recurring. He also took time to educate me on what to look out for going forward, giving me a sense of control over my recovery. Rather than focusing on a long list of exercises, Gaurav used each session to diagnose and adjust my treatment plan based on my progress, which made a huge difference.

After three visits, my exercise routine is improving and is nearly back to normal.

Gaurav gave me very quick relief from many years of shoulder pain when doctors and other therapists could not. I have suffered from shoulder pain for about 10 years, seeking relief through physical therapy, chiropractic treatment, and even arthroscopic surgery. The pain interfered with my sleep and limited my ability to do physical exercise. PT and chiropractic helped very little and the relief never lasted long. Surgery was a complete failure and only made the pain worse, not better. Gaurav enlightened me that prior interventions were based on incorrect diagnosis of the root cause of the pain and failure to realize that my shoulder pain was actually referred pain from misalignment in the cervical spine. It was not due to any sort of defect in the shoulder itself, which is where other therapists – and even a surgeon – had their focus. After just one visit with Gaurav, I was already sleeping undisturbed by shoulder pain. After three visits, my exercise routine is improving and is nearly back to normal. after 6 visits, I noticed a huge difference

I have been having back pain on and off for 5 years now. I tried different physical therapies, but provided only temporary relief. Few PTs did not every work and were a waste of money.
Then someone in the community suggested Sevapt. I gave it a try and only after 6 visits I noticed a huge difference. The pain level reduced drastically and I have to stick to only 1 exercise per day which does not take more than 3 min. It feels so good to do normal activities without worry.

my back pain is much better

Gaurav was wonderful. I went to see him for back pain which I have had for about 8 months after cardiac procedures. He started with a careful interview where he asked for details of all my medical issues, past treatments, medications, what physical activity I can do and what I find difficult, what I think the problem might be etc. After that, he tested the areas where I had pain by asking me to do specific stretches and poses. Then we went through a series of exercises which targeted the areas where the pain was. He recommended exercise routines for me to do at home. After three sessions spanning 2 weeks, my back pain is much better so we decided that it will be further relieved over time by continuing these exercises. And I trust his judgement. Every session he spent the entire hour with me, without distraction. I will continue to do these exercises at home and contact him only if necessary. It was a very different experience from the usual ritualized PT with its hot and cold pads, general exercises with no focus on the specific issue. Instead of weeks of paying for standard PT with no goal, we were done in 3 sessions. I am very hopeful now that I will be able to alleviate the pain with these exercises. Try Seva out. You will get an honest, personal evaluation of your problem and specifics on how to address it. I recommend this physical therapy system. I was particularly impressed with Gaurav himself – the best physical therapist I have been to. Outstanding rating. Could not be better!

eliminated the pain in the legs!!!!

Gaurav has been extremely helpful and through in the treatment he offered. He took his time to first analyze the problem and then suggested a course of action. Gaurav did not jump to starting the therapy right away he recommended we visit a vascular surgeon and have a diagnosis done. This was a blessing because that eliminated the pain in the legs!!!!

Now we have worked on endurance and strengthening therapy. Thank you Gaurav for all your help and guidance. I have already been letting people know of the fantastic job you do.

I saw immediate improvement

I would give 6 stars if that was an option! That was how I impressed and satisfied I was with Seva. Gaurav is an extremely competent, knowledgeable and caring physiotherapist. He provides 1-on-1 individual physiotherapy sessions with very competent rates, and even though it might be an out-of-network insurance for some, it is most definitely worth the extra cost (if at all).

I was recuperating from a knee meniscus surgery, and the rehab was not going well even after 3 months of surgery. That was when I started looking for a new physiotherapist, and a friend suggested Seva. Just after talking to him briefly over the phone, I was impressed with this knowledge and approach. I decided to go for a session the same day, and discontinued my in-network physiotherapist. I was not disappointed. Gaurav was able to quickly diagnose the areas for improvement, and instead of giving a plethora of exercises to do at home, just gave one or two movements to focus on. I saw immediate improvement, and now in just a little over 2 months of Physio sessions, I am at the same physical level as I was before the injury.
