Physical Therapist Job in Princeton, NJ

Looking to build real orthopedic expertise without the burnout of high-volume care?

Seva Orthopedic Physical Therapy is a therapist-owned, orthopedic and spine-focused practice serving the Princeton, NJ area, and we’re growing. Our Physical Therapist Job in Princeton, NJ offers a unique opportunity to work in a low-volume, high-clinical-reasoning environment designed for clinicians who want to develop true orthopedic expertise through one-on-one care, structured mentorship, and the time to think critically and deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Why This Role Is Different

Most outpatient PT roles prioritize volume. We don’t.

At Seva, we intentionally structure care differently:

  • One-on-one patient treatment — no double-booking
  • 12–14 patients per day, Monday–Friday, no weekends
  • Extended time for evaluation and clinical decision-making
  • Focus on outcomes and long-term patient relationships
  • Schedule designed to prevent burnout and preserve clinical quality

Who We’re Looking For

We welcome new graduates and early-to-mid-career clinicians who are:

  • Drawn to orthopedic and spine rehabilitation
  • Motivated by outcomes, not visit volume
  • Comfortable in a one-on-one care model
  • Open to mentorship and collaborative learning

McKenzie/MDT exposure is a plus, but not required.

This Role May Not Be a Fit If You Prefer:

  • High-volume, productivity-based environments
  • Protocol-driven treatment systems
  • Visit quotas over individualized care

We’re intentional about fit because clinical quality depends on alignment.

Clinical Environment & Development

You’ll work in a setting built for advanced orthopedic decision-making:

  • MDT-based assessment and classification approach
  • Weekly case-based clinical reasoning discussions
  • Structured mentorship in orthopedic and spine rehabilitation
  • Independent progression of treatment plans — no rigid protocols
  • Exposure to running analysis and shockwave therapy
  • AI-supported documentation to reduce administrative burden

We invest in clinical development because strong clinicians are built, not hired fully formed.

Compensation & Benefits

  • $85,000 – $105,000 base salary (based on experience)
  • Performance-based bonus (up to $10,000 based on outcomes and patient retention)
  • $1,500 annual continuing education allowance
  • Paid mentorship and certification support
  • Health benefits
  • PTO + holidays
  • 401(k) match
  • Monday–Friday schedule — no weekends

Compensation grows with clinical development, autonomy, and contribution to the practice.
